I'm bored.

Who wants to go dancing or do poker or something! I'm sick to the darkness of people whining about their problems. I need entertainment or I'll die of boredom. And the whole famine thing is just getting old for those of us who photosynthesise for our food.

Like for serious.

Haven't even had Friday night movie night in forever. [Pouts. Yes, ( Read more... )

I wasn't aware people could die of boredom.

Neither was I before coming to this place.

Well, I suppose here makes all the difference, doesn't it? In that case, I'm willing to agree, even if our tastes in entertainment do seem to differ.

Eh, those were things from the top of my head. Normally I'd say fucking, but people tend to object and get high and mighty if you say things like that on the open network.

I can't possibly see why. [an amused snigger.] More than likely, they just need to take the stick from out of their arses. At least you're being honest.

Or swap the stick for something else and swivel on it.

Honesty should be my middle name. Or last name. Any name that isn't my name at any rate, since I don't have a middle one or last one.

Well, I suppose that would work too.

Likely middle; I can't imagine Honesty being a terribly good surname. It doesn't have the best ring to it.

Ah, but you can't have a middle name without a last name and I don't have one of those either.

True, though. Sounds like one of the silly human fairy tales, all the girls are based around 'virtues'. It's ridiculous.

Clearly you ought to think of one then. So you can string names together as you see fit.

Haven't read them, to be honest. Not at all familiar. At this particular moment, I'm rather glad I'm not.

Nothing really goes with Gaila.

They're all like 'Beauty' or 'Snow White' because they're 'pure' and therefore a standard to be admired.

[a brief pause.] I can imagine.

If I met anyone named either 'Beauty' or 'Snow White', I don't think I'd be able to hold a proper conversation with them, let alone admire them.

No. I'd agree, I'd have a hard time not laughing in their faces. Especially as all the girls I know called Beauty have not lived up to their names at all.

I considered Gaila Orion once but it sounded presumptuous to assume I represented all of Orion. And the old thing of having your last name being your job wouldn't really work for me either. Dancer has negative connotations.

What a tragedy. Of course, that's always how it is, hm? Such misnomers.

Dare I ask what an Orion is? Besides the subject of a constellation.

An Orion would be me.

I come from the planet Orion, not Earth.

And where's the planet Orion, then?
