Summary: Despite all the moving around and the hunting and the constant training, Dean knew that he had one big responsibility: Take care of Sam. A prequel to the author's previous story Arrested Development.

Rating: PG-13 for minor language plus pseudo-underage drinking and actual underage drinking.

You got right to the heart of it with this one, without even going near how it would be to see girls taking an interest in Sam and him, at 21. That last line. Arrhhggh.

Thanks! The girls thing is interesting, for sure, although it didn't really come up for me in this story. Perhaps it'll come up if I'm writing another story for this 'verse.

Yeah, I do feel a little bad over hurting Dean so badly... but not bad enough to stop. ;)
