I'll be your friend. That way, you're not spending 100% of your time with yourself. Besides, people can only handle me in 3% doses

You may want to try the theater scene in lieu of movies. Theater houses tend to be very friendly places and it's where I met lots of cool people in Chicago who also have various day-time professions. I think Milwaukee is similar.
