Bethany - They're late 1950's - Early 1960's made for Neiman Marcus, Vintage size 7 extra narrow (all those "a's") let me know what else you want to know.
Aww, that's so cool that you know all that! So, the a's mean extra narrow? Are these rare, or common? Should I put them on eBay? Would you have annnny idea what they might be worth? (I only paid $3 for them, so I doubt I'll lose anything.)
Average vintage 1950-60's stilleto's usually go for at least $10. I can check and get back to you if you want. and the little metal triangles are called Taps - because, well, they tap :) they used them so that A) the heel and toe wouldn't wear down so fast and B) so you hear that clicky-click as you walk.
Oh yeah, and those little metal triangles on the soles at the toes...are those just for the click-click sound when you walk, or are they for something else?

They're a nice chocolately-brown...like in the third & fifth pix.
