Glad you like it. I'm toying with the idea of a longer version, if I can...might have to put it up at fanfiction.net though. I'll comment here with the link, if and when.
Wow, i often set my Tara/someone-other-than-Willow post-"Tabula Rasa," but i never thought to AU it like that. You do a good job of showing how Tara would react, especially to the possibility of more magical interference in her life and how nicely that dovetails with wanting a fresh start from everything, and watching her rebuild herself (not just her life but her self).
Thank you! Feedback's seriously appreciated. I was wracking my brains on this one--and I still think a bit longer version might run more smoothly. Figuring out who to ship with Tara was tricky. The AU side of it was fun once I got that settled.(This nearly ended up being Tara/Giles at one point, but my muse threatened me with penguins. Don't ask.)
Tara/Giles. Now that would be interesting. I think it makes a lot of sense fot this story to be Tara/Faith.
The story feels a bit confused at the beginning. I don't know if that was a conscious authorial decision to reflect Tara's confusion or just what, but i thought i'd mention it.

She's been "good, nice, loyal Tara" and it hasn't gotten her anywhere she wants to stay.
Wonderful line!
