2 Quarters Down

So I just finished my quarter. I have a one week respite(lots of non-class work) before classes start up again. However, one thing struck me about this quarter, and I figured I'd share it. Andy's class was experimental enough that it made me shy away from cognitive science, but I guess our different interests obviously affected our perceptions of the class.

I did enjoy a fair amount of it, though.

I'll just say that I agree with you, it was experiemental, and without Sean, I may have liked the class but it wouldn't have been particularly productive. My appreciation of that class has also grown pretty considerably as I've become a 'learning scientist' as people bring in cog. sci. all the time, even if they don't really understand it. I guess part of what I admire about the classes I mentioned is that they make the big picture explicit, and let you wonder if it is the right big picture, rather than hiding it in the day to day details you do see.
