Day 17: A Trip To The Fair

In case you couldn't tell by the title, we went to the fair today.  I tried to map our walk, but it was a little tricky with all the buildings we went in and out of.  It was somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.13 miles.

I remember you including those cookies in one of my Christmas boxes one year. I remember them as being pretty yummy.

Camel ride. Do they sway much? I'm always reading in books how a novice camel rider feels like they are swaying, like a boat. Do the "ships of the desert" rock? Or is it hard to tell at merely a sedate walk?

Let's just say that my comment to the camel's owner was "I can see why they're called ships of the desert!"
