Sorry I didn't get anything posted last night - by the time I was done with everything else, it was late and I didn't want to bother.  Yesterday, I did the .73 miles under a pale blue and gold sky as the sun set.  No animals, not much of anything.  Pretty run of the mill ( Read more... )

The weather was stormy during the afternoon, and still extremely iffy when it was time to walk.  In fact, there was a huge bank of dark clouds moving in just when it was time to walk.  Of course, it never did rain....

Tomorrow is supposed to be more of the same - we'll see what happens.

I did the .44 mile loop today.  I'll be adding some distance the next time I walk.  Which may or may not be tomorrow - depends on how much rain we actually get, when it arrives, and when it leaves.  Rain is good - they announced today that we're officially in a drought watch.

I had planned to do the same loop today, but I was sore and achy enough that I actually considered not walking at all.  I took some Advil, and after a while felt good enough to walk, but decided to shorten it a bit rather than push.  So today I walked .36 miles.  I'm pretty proud of  myself for that!  I also re-mapped the .4 mile loop using a ( Read more... )

I walked today, using the same route as Sunday, so I walked .4 miles again.  It was about an hour earlier than usual, because it looked like it was going to rain.  Of course, 6 1/2 hours later, it still hasn't rained....  Anyway, the sky was grey and cloudy, I didn't see anyone, and most of the animals were in hiding.  I heard some birds, and saw ( Read more... )

I may have pushed a little hard yesterday - today, all day, I hurt and felt horrible.  Experience with the fibro told me that taking it easy was the best thing today, so that's what I did.  Back to walking tomorrow!
