[Let's take a walk through Casimiro's day, shall we? Yes let's!

A) It's late morning/early afternoon, and the pub is almost completely empty. Casimiro is "working" behind the bar, playing solitaire, practicing fancy shuffling tricks, and the like. Stop in at your leisure, he might play you a round of poker for a drink. But be careful. He cheats.

B) ( Read more... )

*OH YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY BARTENDER CASIMIRO. There's another man there, seeing what you're doing thar, and he snatches up on of your cards, peering over his shoulder at the cards.*

Working hard? Or hardly workin' hm?

[Heyyy hands off. Snatching it back now.]

Don't see much point in workin' when there's no one here.

Ya know, there's a nice bag of trash in the back with your name on it.

*says as he walks to the other side of the counter and blows at his cards, scattering them*

And you can clean that mess up while you're at it too.

[Oh nah son. He is too old for this shit. And he's seething as his nicely-arranged solitaire game is scattered. But he composes himself enough to not leap over the counter and kill him.]

Fuck that. If you want it out you take it out.

*CONRAD comes out of the school once classes are over with. He has his usual large coat, gloves, and hat on, to keep his skin safe from the sun. He walks down from the school, briefcase in hand and glances off to the side, faltering in his steps to see Casimiro under the tree BUT he composes himself and continues his way down the sidewalk.*

YES you did bethebetterman September 20 2010, 01:55:38 UTC
[Oh look it is his absolute favorite person to bother! Uh next to Finas.]

Hey. Hey.

[He won't stop until you respond, Connie.]

[Late morning? Almost empty? These things bother not one (1) Theo Crawford, Mayfield's latest up-and-coming alcoholic, who has nothing better to do on this beautiful day off from work than get hammered. That is, unless, Casimiro has something against serving 19-year-olds. (hey, he's ALMOST 20).

He comes up and orders a glass of red wine, and watches you shuffle the cards, after a fashion. He's sort of staring off into space.]

[No way, he'd serve alcohol to a thirteen year old if he was bored enough. Such a devil's advocate. So he's uncorking the bottle without a care.]

Kinda early for a heavy red isn't it?

Hnn. I've tried most of the wines in town. Probably all of them. And that one? That one is the one that tastes the least like fermented shampoo.

Yeah? This shit all tastes the same to me.

[Cas pours a glass and sets it in front of him, then leans on the counter.]

How're you at poker?

[The bar Cas was working at wasn't the only place seeing less than favorable activity. The restaurant Finas was working for was virtually empty this morning, and there were more than enough waiting staff on hand. So he took his leave for the time being, and decided to pay Casimiro a visit at work. Pushing the door open with one hand, loosening his tie and the top button of his too crisp white shirt with his other.

Spotting the other man, heading in that direction.]

You seem busy.

[Cas looks up with the sound of the door opening and his mood seems to lift a little. Finally, someone not boring or infuriating. He straightens up and muses for Finas to take a seat across the bar from him.]

Yeah no kidding. [Said dryly as he drops his deck in front of him.]

What'll you have?

[Taking a seat with a bit of a sigh, undoing his tie completely, he'll fix that whenever he chooses to go back to work. He supposes, since it's early he shouldn't have anything too strong.

...

Then again he was god knows how old, scotch wouldn't hurt.]

Scotch on the rocks.

[Taking up the deck, thumbing through the cards a bit.]

[That was a little surprising (considering the hour he might've guessed tea), but Cas just smirked and turned his back for a minute. A bottle was selected from the shelf behind him while he prepared a glass.]

I'll get you the good stuff.

[Returning to the counter, he set the glass in front of Finas and leaned in.]

Fancy a game?
