Wikia [personality] Snow isn't exactly what one would dub the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he isn't stupid, either. He just has a boundless optimism to him that sometimes comes across as naive and frequently makes other people roll their eyes at him. He just refuses to see the glass as half empty; and even if he sees it as half full, he wants to try to find a way to fill it all the way up. He doesn't back down from his opinions or beliefs, no matter how many people are telling him he's wrong. Unless he is given perfect, concrete evidence to show him why what he thinks isn't right, he'll continue to believe it is.
His faith in doing what he believes is right, keeps him motivated and going. That, and it's the only thing he thinks he can do. He's not the best when it comes to apologizing or thinking things all the way through to the end. Snow pushes forward with what he's doing right now, in this moment, with the faith that in the end it will all work out alright.
It doesn't always, as is the case with Hope's mother, Nora (coincidentally, the same name as the rebellion group Snow leads). He may not outwardly show it, but Nora's death weighs heavily on him; even though he wasn’t technically responsible for her death, he feels as though he was, and willingly shoulders the responsibility. It becomes his burden to bear, even after both Hope and his father (essentially) forgive him for it.
He has a tendency to charge headlong into a situation without stopping to think of all of the possible consequences to his actions; he figures, hey, he's got other people to hold him back if he's going to do something too stupid (not that them trying to ever actually works). This gets him (and those around him) into trouble more often than not, but it also leads to a lot of really good things (or good if you think a revolution against a less that kosher government is good, anyway).
But he has a tender side to him, a sort of gentle giant sort of thing that comes out whenever there are people to protect, or if Serah is around him. That belief in what's right comes into play heavily again, as Serah being a l'Cie winds up not mattering to him (though admittedly, he was shocked at first), and her being hunted and eventually taken is what propels Snow into getting NORA going. Most of his decisions from then on involve either getting her back, or making sure he's doing what he thinks she would want him to do. She is his motivation.
[orientation] Straight. Snow has a (female) fiancee whom he loves very, very much.
[appearance] N/A
[wish] For the fight to end with Cocoon safe so he can have a happy life with Serah.
[requested house] Kawabari
[misc notes] Snow's l'Cie powers will, naturally, be clamped shut with the bracelet. Therefore, his brand will just simply be a tattoo. No steelguard for him. Abilities when they are unlocked include
all of this.
SAMPLES
[sample 1#] This wasn't comfortable. Snow had never even been with Serah this way, wouldn't until they were properly married and together and ready to start the rest of their lives. This is what she wanted, though, this strange woman whom Snow had only known for a few hours, who currently laid naked on the bed and seemed to be looking at him expectantly. He let out a small breath and turned away from her in order to undress, his hands moving slowly and taking their sweet time.
He paused before he finally let what he wore fall to the floor and he turned back around again. The embarrassment was as plain as day on his face, from the way he kept his eyes averted to the fact that a faint red stain was beginning to blossom across his cheeks. Maybe if he closed his eyes, he could at least pretend it was Serah, or would that just make it worse? It would probably be better if he put her as far from his mind as possible.
Eventually he knelt down onto the bed and hovered over the woman, looking down at her with a vague sort of apprehension on his face. He shook his head, remembered that he was here for a reason, that behaving would get him through this, and eventually ran a hand down her side to get things started.
[sample 2#] [ The feed starts as so many do, though this one shows a blank wall, empty and devoid of any sort of decoration. After a few moments, a wrist gets thrust in front of the screen. There's a tattoo on the screen, but it's not one of a flower, like those who are around would be familiar with. It's a little bit...
different.
A voice eventually comes over the feed. ]
Anyone who knows what this brand means, contact me. Friend or foe, doesn't matter. If we're in this together, I can't imagine you'll be too quick to hunt me down.
[ There's a slight pause, and his hand curls into a tight (and large) fist. ]
I just want answers. I don't trust the ones that were given to me by the person who talked to me when I woke up. The sooner the better.
[ Another pause, and then he's giving the screen a thumbs up before flipping the device. Snow's face is visible for a second before the video turns off. ]
