it's pretty much the same word, but arse is the british spelling. arse is no more polite than ass. or at least that's how it was when i was in england five years ago.

Oh, Beth and her new Welsh slang ;) Anyway, since I'm an old pro at this sort of thing, lj cuts go a little something like this:

no, it didn't show up correctly! Dammit... ok, let's try this again.
First example: < lj-cut > ... < /lj-cut >
Second example: < lj-cut text="whatever you want it to say" > ... < /lj-cut >
and remove the spaces after or before the angle brackets :P
