Progress

'Tis the season for resolutions, which is why I'm not making any this year. I've skipped them the past couple of years and life went on just fine. That being said, I've made the decision to attempt to record my progress with my exercise program. It's a program I've been doing for the past couple of months, with moderate success. Looks good!

I would suggest dropping the lunges all together, though, as you don't really need to do them and you have knee issues. If you need an alternative to squatting, try a leg press machine or dead-lifts. You could also incorporate the use of leg extension and leg curl machines to focus on the muscles that move the knee joint. Strengthening them--cautiously--should help alleviate discomfort.

I don't know if you know this, but I'm in school for exercise science, so I'd be happy to throw ideas back and forth with you.
