My mother pointed out that a great number of people expressed their support for me via the comments (and even more on Facebook and via email) in the hopes that I would write an update. I am not sure what to say exactly, but here goes

When I read your last post, I saw so much of myself in your words. I guess I'm just a little bit more narcissistic than the average person, because we all tend to measure life by how we relate to it. But I was diagnosed with depression fairly recently, so I allowed myself to accept the similarities

Again, we're running a bit parallel. I'm beginning to unfreeze, little by little. Of course, there's some back-tracking, too....but still.
