Earlier this week, a remarkable person named Becca Rosenthal died.

Becca was known on twitter as @becca_darling and she blogged about music as The Bee Charmer.

I read AFP's account of her friendship with Becca and then I read yours. My heart broke over and over for someone I didn't know. Thank you for sharing this wonderful person with the rest of us.

beth, it has been a long time, but when i heard the news, i thought of you, and i am so, so sorry. for the brief time in which i interacted with becca, i knew that she was pretty damn magical, and a beautiful kind of human being. i can't imagine the feeling of loss, but know (and i'm sure that you do) that so many people's hearts are with you and everyone else who really truly knew her at this time.

I'm so sorry for your personal loss. I only knew Becca from her online presence, but knew that she was a special person. She could always make me laugh or think deeply about what she had said. She will be remembered.
