Maybe. Maybe even linking to the video for it will get rid of the video fever.

But, my God. (Ha! Literally.) I can't put either of these out of my head.

Sometimes it helps to eliminate it.

I thought it would sound less poppy but given the period in which it debuted and such.

I don't know if the person who put together the video omitted it or whether it's just not there in the movie version, but in the Broadway soundtrack the proselytes are originally called by the shofar before the guy begins singing. Which would also have been a nice touch.

The movie is in the household Netflix queue, but I may have to watch by myself so as not to react overly.
