Actually, that's very good for your first icon! You should try fooling around with PSP some more. I've also got a brush/texture tutorial I'll be posting in the next couple of days.

After that though I have no idea where to go with the tutorials. Other than doing the icon by icon tutorials most people do... Ideas?

really great tutorial, and psp-specific, yay! I had a quick question though, maybe you'd know. everytime I rotate my text in psp it gets blurry and looks awkward. any tips on how to clear it up? thanks in advance!

Ah yes I got that a lot too till I discovered the vector text layer. When you create your text 'create as' 'Vector'. Then you can rotate your text and it will stay a lot more crisp and clear than when you choose to rotate it from the toolbar. Make sense? (I'm not always that great at explanations so I included an image to show you, I'm more of a visual learner myself.) Hope this helps!
