This is just my list of books which I've read and want to reccomend, and my view on the best books of each genre in the young adult and sometimes children genres. Feel free to comment with ideas, reccomendations or opinions.

I recomend the Xanth series, Mode series and Adept series by Piers Anthony. I am still working on the Xanth series, but some of the books are hard to find. I almost have them all. XD But any of the books are good and you don't really have to read them in order. They have a lot of Puns in them. The other two series dont.

Sarah Dessen is such a great author, I love her books.

Have you read the Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison? It's kinda a hilariously funny book series.

I still pimp the Nero Wolfe series, as always. Also, "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac is great. And Kate Chopin's The Awkening". And Tim O'Brien's "The Things They Carried". And "Devil in the White City."

Actually, I pimp alot of books. But those are just the main ones.

I remember reading A Wrinkle in Time! Gosh, that was like intermediate, I think my friend had been pushing me to read it for a while. It's one of those books that you can remember bits about, not quite the plot, but still think it's good :P

I've read some biographies in the past few months which are quite interesting and moving;

01. Alive, by Piers Paul Read, is about a rugby team getting stuck in the Andes for about 70-some days (and yes, they went to cannibalism so it's kind of gross);

02. Night, by Elie Wiesel ("elly vie-sel" or something, it's said), is the man's account of when he was in a concentration camp at about age fifteen;

03. Truth and Beauty, by Ann Patchett, is women's account of the life of a cancer survivor she knew (after she had had cancer) and the different things they both went through; wanting to be loved, wanting to be famous, drugs, &c &c, it's not something about an amazing event but still quite interesting, I think ( ... )
