*Yawn*

MM slept for seven hours straight last night without waking up.  This sounds good for maternal sleep, right?   Unfortunately, the seven hours were from 9 to 4.  I went to bed after 11.  Even more unfortunately, it turns out that when babies who are not accustomed to it sleep for seven hours without waking up, when they *do* wake up, they feel - ( Read more... )

My adventurous cooking has dropped off to nada, even though I'm home, because I'm trying to be really, really low-cal and eat a lot of salads. I know there's adventurous low-cal cooking but right now I'm just keeping it simple.

Oh, and I've got a rotten cold too. I feel absolutely farking miserable right now. And I'd really looked forward to getting out and getting some walking or bicycling in today.

I saw your other post about your cold, I hope you recover quickly. I was worried about TDG after you and another of my LJ friends both came down with really bad colds on the same day, but at least through yesterday he was relatively robust. We'll see about today.

I need to get back on some sort of diet myself, but right now I'm still nursing and despite the fact that I'm really fat, I'm *always* hungry. I've tried a couple of half-measures but gave up pretty quickly. Once MM is on her own nutrient-wise I'll have to do something. I'm reluctantly considering going back on low-carb because it's the only thing that's ever worked for me for anything like long-term, but I get so very tired of it! And I just bought a rice cooker! Meh.

Try to rest up today and maybe by tomorrow you'll feel more like exercise.

Whole grain rice! Kashi pilaf. Complex carbs. You know the drill (as do I), maybe it'll help you avoid the low carb thing.
