I would, in the future, avoid nasty viruses if I were you or TDG. There's just no real point in getting incredibly sick. No fun at all.
I haven't gotten to cook much at all because I've been sick or on the road. And feeling fairly uninspired when I've been there. I've done some baking, though, but haven't done anything particularly noteworthy there either. I did just get a big box containing blue corn meal and triticale flour from Bob's Red Mill, so I have that to look forward to when I get home from Boston.
Thanks for the update, in any case, and remember that the instantaneously-covering-oneself-with-dirt is God's plan for building up the immune system. The time to watch out is when SS starts covering himself with radioactive waste in hopes of developing super powers.
I keep telling TDG to stop licking the doorknobs at the daycare center. We can't figure out quite how he got the Coxsackie since MM never showed signs of illness (it was going around her center). Presumably she had an symptomatic infection, which, you know, good for her, but it's weird that her dad is getting her childhood illnesses for her. :-)
I saw an ad for http://www.ansonmills.com/cornmeal.htm in Mother Earth News and would love to buy some but I've never gotten around to it. Maybe someday.
What's especially cool about their corn meal? Just curious. I've been working off a bag of meal from West Point on the Eno that my sister gave me last Thanksgiving.
Jayfurr, now there's a name I haven't seen in awhile....say about 5 days :-) I still have a couple of his "Its the Internet Stupid" shirts, and they still fit, and I wear them!!
Glad to hear that everything is on the upswing again!! Getting sick is no fun.
