It did my heart good to see so many snigglers in one place - the usual suspects, plus a couple of friendly faces I hadn't seen in years - and to get to hug them and hear their voices and stories.

Little boys, a harp, and a guitar are extremely cute together. I will never forget R plucking intently and singing an improvised song about a spider eating peanuts, complete with a catchy chorus. C liked making cool sound effects.

There were many stars (planets, satellites, etc.)!

The sweet silver song of a Lark is an adorable high-pitched bark. (Hark! Hark! The Lark doth bark.)

It was very pleasant. I think we got less "done" than in previous years, but just hanging out with people was delightful. And the weather could not have been better.

The stars and the meteors...

And maybe next year I'll get the tee shirt cannon working.
