Leave it to him to be the one person in all of Discedo to get permanently killed. [He sounds like he's trying to make light of it. Instead, it comes off heavily sarcastic and a bit mean. He is also quite well aware that it probably just means he was sent home rather than permanently died.]

I was wondering what had happened to him. One minute he was there with the rest of us, and then he had disappeared.

He died. Usually it only takes a few days for a person to be revived here. When they aren't, it usually means they were sent back instead for some reason. By accident, the scientist said...
