It seems I'm always away from home over the holidays. Does time pass back home while we are away? I cannot fathom how that would work.

Easter was...buono. I am glad it was celebrated by such a commensurable amount of people.

Weird. I don't think that's the date I left...but I could be wrong.

It probably was not. When I arrived here the date was completely different from the one I'd just left back home. This date is in accordance to this world and its seasons rather than the one you left back home.

This place is so strange. Another world, all these different people, and everything's so dead...

Since December.

I heard some people have been here two years. That seems such a long time.

Yes.

Two years is the longest I've heard as well, though I hear the taking of people from their homes and dispensing them here has been going on for at least three, possibly three and a half years by now.

That's... That's horrible. And no one's been able to find these people and stop them?

That's not right. It's cowardly and cruel, to use people for their own game.

No one here is likely to object with you on that point.

There is little anyone can do about it however.
