Tatting tales

Since I'm in the middle of exam season and birthday season, as well as the beginning of Christmas season, I've been doing a bit of tatting lately. Actually, I've mostly been working on one thing. And I've been working on it slowly for about a month, then spent a lot of time last week finishing it up. I'm rather proud of it!

I wanted to have it this Saturday, but then I remembered that it's my brother's birthday. Oops. I'll try to find another time soon...

That's a beautiful flower! Well done betsy!!! Pity I couldn't see it for real before you gave it away, but I'm sure you'll make more. The beaded and tatted bracelets are wonderful too. And I love all the pretty and artistic photos! Love and peace and hugs

I think the birthday girl needs a copy of that first picture. *grin* It is ridiculously awesome. And apparently, I STILL can't spell "ridiculously" right until it's been pointed out it's wrong. Phoo.

I guess I'm going to have to email her a big bunch of photos at some point or other.

"Especially" is my word like that. I cannot spell it for the life of me.

Actually, I have apparently convinced her that she needs facebook. She's coming over on Saturday so I can set up an account for her.

Excellent! I'll have to make sure I check regularly on Saturday. I'll probably be spending half the day cooking (Al wants "a whole roast ox" for his birthday - he won't get it, but I'll try to make something big and roasty), so I'll be able to spend lots of bits and pieces of time online.
