It doesn't matter where I work, I always get put out there with the customers because I, as they say, am a people person. They say I have a good personality. Look, I'm not afraid to talk to people and I can be cute and clever with the customers, but that doesn't mean I want to deal with every A hole that comes in line. I work at a hospital now. We have a kitchen. Guess where they put me most of the time? Not in the back, noooooo. They put me out front to serve food, and to who? CUSTOMERS! I really need to get out of this type of customer service. I say "this type of customer service" because no matter what job you have, it's a customer service job. But seeing the people and having to wait on them personally is a pain. I'd rather be behind the scenes where they can't see me. Sorry to rant, but I know what it's like to work in customer service. Every job I've had invovled me saying "What can I do for ya?"
In short, I can relate.
