So, Im making another attempt to update my journal a little more.

I went to the Full Frontal Feminist speaker today. I love Feminism. And in case you didn't know, you're reading a feminist's blog right now. Yup, you are. I hope you're not scared. Actually, maybe I do. Just a little. I hope that you see me differently. I hate when someone says "Oh

Yes, I know what you mean. It's sad when people put stereotypes on "isms" others believe in. Feminism is a celebration of womanhood. It is a staunch effort to break down the barriers that hinder women from enjoying their rights or reaching their full potential. It does not entail wanting to be a man; rather, it is about wanting to be a woman unfettered.

Speaking of feminism, my favorites (with respect of feminist literary criticism) are Sandra Gilbert and Susan Gubar. "The Madwoman in the Attic" was published the year I was born (he he he). It was lovely (think Victorian literature from a feminist POV).
