This month I have started actively searching for a job. First I started small, putting out a few applications to PetSmart and Petco. I applied for basic retail associates positions for both but also a Pets Hotel Guest Associate. Re-orientation
So after much changing of plans here and there, we are back aligned with our original plan upon leaving Japan of me going back to college.
I've been re-admitted to University of Memphis for Fall 2010 so we will bunk down here until at least I finish my education. In the mean time since we've finally settled on being somewhere for the medium-term so ( Read more... ) -

Back in service
And we're back! The past two-ish weeks have been full of old friends traveling. Lots and lots of traveling!

Dad's 60th
This past Tuesday, my Dad turned 60. 30*2. 120/2. Any way you write it, that's what he is. For a gift, I decided to dust off the ink and paint and make him something crafty in celebration. I decided to sketch out a Blue Jay from a photo I'd found on Google.

Back in New York
Today I discovered that LiveJournal has finally implemented a statistics page! Now I can see how many people have visited this blog, if they visit via RSS or straight LiveJournal, what they looked at, etc. I'm happy to realize that people actually read this and I'm not just talking/posting for myself. Bull Shoals Caverns
As Kevin mentioned in his previous post, we took the car out for some much deserved highway time and traveled 4 1/2 hours to a small town in northern Arkansas called Bull Shoals. Hisashiburi desu/It's been a while
Certainly that much is true. In the past few weeks, we've spent equal parts of our time doing fun things and doing necessary things. Sometimes the two categories even merge themselves together to produce an especially productive day.

Finalizing my time with the Navy
Well, so I'm finally done with the Navy.
Although its quite the relief, I always try to be positive about the things that I've been through in life.
