3. Totally agree there. They are so brother/sister, pseudo-parental units for the team, etc. It's the only justification in my head that I can see for why Lisbon puts up with him so much. Annoyed and angry as she gets, she always relents eventually, and it's because he's like a brother that she wants to take care of. Also so amusing how in the latest episode, she gave him a dollar and told him to go get a candy bar out of the vending machine. So sisterly/motherly and cracked me the hell up. XD
4. Either she called her brother Tommy, or she decided to avoid that hornet's nest for now and just went home to a hot bath and music.
5. I hope that one day you find some kind of peace, Jane.
6. Punching him was something she really needed to do for quite a while. On the show, I would have to steal your answer & say it'd be great to see Lisbon put Jane in his place. In RP world, I'd like to see the shenanigans that would ensue if Jane randomly stopped off at her place with a salad and the night passed with random movie viewing or something.
3. And now I picture Jane using that with AU!Bosco or various other figures who get irritated with him: "When Lisbon wants me to leave, she gives me a dollar to get a candy bar. Nyah, nyah. :P"
6. Oh he so did. I was shocked she actually did it, but she obviously needed that ...because she's been eating too many burgers & meatball subs and she needs a nice, healthy salad and oh let's watch a movie! :D
I had to think about this one 8DbettercopMarch 16 2010, 05:33:50 UTC
...you and Van Pelt...what? [Oblivious!Lisbon is oblivious...]
1. She's complex and multi-dimensional character, which makes it really, really fun to dig around inside her head and try to deconstruct her. 2. I've enjoyed all of them so far. :) 3. I think Rigsby is a bit more like Lisbon as far as following the rules and going by the book. Cho's more apt to let Jane loose, while Rigsby's like, 'Wait, Lisbon wouldn't like this and it's against the rules...' And he's loyal to his boss, and I think that's awesome. They have this...kind of sibling-esque bond, in some ways, I think. 4. Probably iced her hand, after punching Jane. XD 5. You're a damn fine agent, Rigsby. 6. Be interesting to see them working a crime scene together/doing some investigating, since she tends to take Cho or Jane a lot of the time, but very rarely is it just Lisbon & Rigsby. 7. What's going on with you and Van Pelt?
3. I've been noticing it more now that I'm making it a point to study how Lisbon interacts with each of her team members, and Rigsby is definitely firmly in her corner. 5. You're welcome. Wouldn't say it if it wasn't true. [And she totally wouldn't.] 6. Perhaps we should thread it out sometime? 7. ...You're a bad liar, Rigsby.
