I managed to draft and sew my corset and dress, which as you can see is a little on the complicated side, in two days - plus I had class and work. My dress is CRAP complete and total crap, but holy cow, I'm pretty damn amazing for getting it done, though it's missing a zipper. I bought the wrong size. Eheu... I hope my teacher understands what things have been like lately. I've been working more than I can handle, plus this whole brother fiasco is making thigns hard to concentrate. But still! I got it done to the best of my ability, and I only really had a week to do it.
So lets see... I need to change the sleeves because I don't like them, and adjust the back waist panels and remove an inch from the skirt
Next on the to do list... sew my real corset, put together my sewing sample book which means I need to catch up on two missed samples... study for mid terms... and hopefully not die of stress.
In about an hour, when I have everything packed into my bag and ready for 9:30 tomorrow morning, I will be able to sit back and proudly pat myself on the back. My dress is shitty and has no zipper, but I did it, and under less than perfect circumstances.
Go me.
