Being given a telephone number that will let you call the Archangel Gabriel doesn't mean that such a thing should be used lightly. How does an angel's ring tone sound like, indeed? Perhaps some things are better left unsaid, in order to keep some shred of mystery about the angel in question. He answers almost immediately, long, thin fingers easily flipping the cell open and pressing the green phone button.

"Kurt." The smile's evident in his voice. "You have good news for me, don't you."

Heee! Angel on his cellphone! The smile is definitely infectious.

"Hallo, Gabriel! I certainly hope so. I cannot be sure, but the little one may have found something amazing!"

"I am glad to hear it," and good Lord, that is the truth of the day. He's waited so long for this, and finally, it seems as though the waiting will come to an end.

"Why don't you come over for a cup of tea? I always prefer being face to face when engaging in conversation, call me old-fashioned." Oh, that teasing tone of voice. He knows what it does to Kurt, to hear an angel speak to him with such familiarity, and what is a bit of manipulation in the grand scheme of things? It's what he was sent to this earth for, after all.

Gabriel may or may not be able to hear the happy thump of a tail against the floor. No, even after months in the nexus, something in Kurt just never let him take for granted the fact that God's own Left Hand would take the time to speak to him.

"I remember your apartment! I'll be right over."

And he won't even teleport directly into the room either, as that would stink the place up. No, he appears on the fire escape and taps on the window.

He's found a nice carved box of wood for the item in question, as just carrying it around in his pocket like his alternate had done would seem a blasphemy. It fills him with wonder to hold it - if it was true...
