Dear Yuletide Author,
So wow, it's practically Christmas already. Crazy times! I'm not sure if you are one of those people who works well with additional information, or what, but here are my attempts at putting my general indecisiveness and love of pretty much everything about the four fandoms I have requested into words.
Doctor Who RPF - I just really, truly adore Matt and Karen together. I find their little promo tour on the tour bus to be a fascinating thing, and maybe it's still a hold over from my American Idol Season 8 days, but man, a hook up on the tour bus would be A++. I mean, I pretty much love all the New Who cast. Also, holy shit, now that I think about it, a bantery David Tennant and Catherine Tate doing one of the Jonathan Ross shows would be amazing as well, but yeah, Matt and Karen. Oh god, I'm being utterly unhelpful, I can just predict it now.
Mad Men - So how stellar was Mad Men this season? PRETTY STELLAR, IS WHAT. I'm a big fan of Joan and Peggy together, especially considering their little moment in the finale. But I also really like Peggy and Joyce a lot, and Peggy and Don in a vaguely romantic mostly messed up delightfully honest with each other way. Apparently Peggy is my fandom bicycle. So something Peggy-centric would be ~~amazing. And I am A-OK with her being gay!
How I Met Your Mother - God, I didn't even know how this ended up in my top four until I thought about my deep, burning desire for really good Robin/Lily. THEIR LOVE IS EPIC. And oddly canon. Please be kind to Marshall (and Ted and Barney)? I'm not sure what else I can really think of for this, but yeah, definitely Robin/Lily.
Community RPF - OK, SO. Gosh. This is hard. I would really enjoy just a gen sort of ~the whole gang hangs out/gets drunk/harasses each other on Twitter~ sort of story, with maybe some side Danny/Donald? I feel like the cast's love affair with Twitter should definitely be involved though. Prank war? I HAVE NO IDEA, but I saw this was nominated and immediately had a strange happy glow surround me and I basked in its glory. I will say that my two favorite pairings for this are definitely Danny/Donald and Alison/Gillian. (And, if for any reason this comes into play, I ship Jeff/Britta in the show - and Troy/Abed, since yeah.)
I highly doubt this was helpful in any way, shape or form, but I do hope you know that I am eagerly anticipating your work. I hope there is something in this travesty of an entry that strikes your fancy.
Happy Holidays!
Meg
