((Dear SBG: here is a
permission meme it is awesome you should go post in it if you haven't yet.))
A human form... ah, Mesprit does seem to be terribly pleased with her new body. I wonder... should I do the same? I can't simply turn away from trying a new experience at least once, can I? Even if I only try it just to know what it's like, it would be unforgivable to be willfully ignorant of such a thing.
Even so... aiya, you see so very little of the Pokemon here actually being Pokemon. Is it merely for the convenience of having thumbs? A shortcut to speaking human language without struggling against your own tongue? Or is it perhaps to make the humans more comfortable? It was quite obvious to me that Misty was quite unsettled with a Pokemon speaking to her, and most of the Pokemon-inhabited regions seem to regard our kind as animals -- beings of sub-human intelligence. The way a human treats a fellow human is very different from the way they treat a dog, after all. Changing shape to match them presents us with a new dimension of interaction. Even so... Pokemon are not humans. I wonder if this sort of assimilation is good for their animal instincts?
Personally... I feel little need to change. The body the Original One gave me suits my needs perfectly. I'm reluctant to adopt a form that will weaken my abilities, especially when I've come to live in such a dangerous place.
Dana knows nothing of the danger lurking in her shadow, and I prefer to keep it that way -- there's no sense in souring her time in the human world with paranoia and mistrust. Mesprit... I refuse to saddle her with such a burden. She's built to be a carefree creature. She's recovered so nicely after the extraction of the chain... I would prefer that she stay happy. I know the Original One cannot be counted on, either. It's not her policy to get involved, and it truly is wisest that she remain distanced from us. Being so near to the enemy is advantageous, but only if we don't grow careless. One of us must remain constantly vigilant, and... ah, I do seem to be best suited for the job. I must therefore be very careful about presenting any openings to the foe.
Even so, a different form may prove to be useful. There may well come a time when I need to move about undetected, and simply allowing my spirit to wander won't do the trick. If that does become the case, then it seems that a human form must be something that is used sparingly; if I am recognised, then there is no point to it.

Goodness... things are certainly lively, aren't they? Playing tricks can be satisfying, certainly, but it seems to me that the victims are all quite upset. Aiya... I do believe our mystery prankster has gone too far.
Hmm... whoever could have pulled all these tricks? I'm sure everyone is eager to find the one responsible for all of this. I wonder... how many of you want revenge? Is demaning an apology enough? Or maybe you don't really care who did it at all...?
