Employment anyone?

Well.. it's come to that point. The point where it finally kicks in - I need a damn job. Yes I've been working p/t over the summer, but let's face it - I haven't been working *that* hard. As much as I've enjoyed sitting on my bum all day, watching DVDs, sleeping in when I want to, dyeing the hairs green when I've gotten bored, I have also hit that ( Read more... )

Musing on stuff like emoticons is important stuff since they're jam packed with meaning, but unfortunately it isn't recognized by society as something people should be paid for (yet!). So until they start paying for doing the REAL work that society needs, I guess it is good to have a job.

I must see this Office thingie that you speak so highly of. For obvious reasons, I've never heard of it, but still it seems intriguing enough. A watching at some point in the future! I demand it! (please)

Just to let you know, I wasn't referring to the musing that we were doing about your broken monkey emoticons. Lord knows I cherish the time we spend doing that. In fact, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Except ice cream. Lots and lots of ice cream.

That's one of those... British shows. I cannot have heard of it for that fact alone.
*evil grin*

I remember when I first moved here. I lazed for a good three months. It sucked and I felt like a lump with nothing to do but watch tv and eat. I get tired of working now, but I'm glad to have a job. It can be good company (my co-workers) and it can lead to weird people (my customers) or assholes (co-workers and customers, heh). Here's to finding a jobbie (and not a poop) for you!
And remember, everything results in poop, so expect it.

Yes, although I have enjoyed my time as a lump thoroughly... I do believe it's time to poke my head back into society. It can be good company, you're absolutely right. I wouldn't have met Dan or you if it were not for work!

Awww...Hey does this mean you'll be reverting back to "normal" haircolors for the serious job searching? :-(

Good luck though. If you do end up working at retail lemme know where. I just may have to stalk....errr, I mean...visit you there once in a while :-).

Yes, if I get a job I will most likely have to revert back to a "normal" haircolor. I guess that means you'll have to see me soon! ;)
And I will be sure to let you know the whereabouts of my next retail endeavor. Who can resist a stalking from such a charming stalker?
