Happy post-cinco de mayo day!

Yes I may not have been as ambitious as I would have liked to have been this week. However, you must give me this - I accomplished a goal this week. Granted it was a goal involving alcohol and the company of sexy friend-folk, but it was a goal dammit! Cheap libations were consumed in rapid succession in honor of Cinco de Mayo with a crazy mixture ( Read more... )

But the hippie-speak was just SO right, man!
*laughs*
I had great fun and tell your friend L I said "hey, sup?". Maybe she'll cringe and you'll REALLY know how she felt about that night. Heheheh.
I realized later on that I had kissed you right after that tall gay man (I know his name, dont get all crazy on me now!) did. I have swapped spit secondarily with a man who loves teh cock. Like wow. I don't believe. *cackles with glee* eh. We'll discuss it in person, later.
If your brother reads this comment and I know he oft reads your journal, try not to be too grossed out. Thanks.

Eh, ambition. Yes, life and it's living is important but every once in a while you do get those seconds and minutes that you wish could just last forever. It seems hard to compare mundane moments of comfort and security (or working toward those moments) to crazy cracked out off the wall insanity that (despite maybe not being grand, lofty, socialy acceptable, or even legal) just seem to make you happy. Dirty hippie!

I had the good times. Yes, I was slightly "subdued" but trust me...I danced. AND I enjoyed it. Both of those corresponding is a very rare event and it speaks volumes about the company I was in.

Gah. I wish I had the ability to stick with one group that has known me for years; spout about old memories and strange doings. I've never been able to stick with anyone, and it's bugging me.

You've got to take into consideration the fact that despite my knowing some people for lengthy periods of time now, oftentimes those years were "dotted" with periodic lapses of friendship. I have the distinct honor in my group of being "missing" from certain chunks of memories because I was off doing my own thing or I was taking a break from certain people. :)

So fret not budd, I can't honestly say I've been the tighest of friends with all these people for all these years. Besides, I definitely think there are times when it is BEST for you to break ties with certain forces in your life. Sometimes it is the only way to grow into the awesome person you are in the present.

That's true, that's true. Perhaps I'll hang out with Ryan and Bierman again; or perhaps not give a shit because I doubt they'd care the same. :)
