You will not win.

Job hunting sucks ass. So does owing your old apartment complex 1,094 dolla. I'm not sure why but I got a letter saying that we do. One more thing of stress I don't want to deal with. At least the horrible weekend is over.

I'm greatly considering it. The only thing is that I'm worried about the Burlesque show. I don't want to miss it.

did you give 30 days notice to your old apartment complex?

Yep. It says something about "damage to property" and "cleaning bill". The only damage to the property was the smoke detector that Kim took out of the ceiling, a small burn mark in the carpet and a broken towel rack that we replaced.

This complex likes to screw me up the ass with a wooden spoon.

Well they're probably charging you with a full professional cleaning of the apartment. At my last apartment that cost $80 but I lived in a 400 square foot studio apartment. I don't know what the rest could be. Cleaning costs should have been covered in the deposit, I was under the impression that they were not allowed to charge any more than that unless you *really* damaged the place. You should have done a walk through with them to asses the damage in your presence.

She's right. My advice would be to tell them you'd like to see the full bill, and if it doesn't look right to you then tell them you'll see them in small claims court to refute the charges. If they don't have real proof with bills and pictures to prove the damage it'll be hard for them to prove to the court that there was actually any damage.

If they are charging you for damages and cleaning then they need to have that itemized in the letter they sent you with how much each action cost.

I heard that Costco is looking for people...and I bet you'd get a sweet employee discount. Might be worth checking out! Also, if food service doesn't give you hives, you could ask my brother if Dions is still hiring. And there is nothing sweeter than a job that gives you a free meal.
