Yesterday, to mark the day, my mom joined the ranks of the short haired. Measured from the middle of her head (roughly where the ponytail was gathered to cut it) to the tip it was 2' 7" long. Take into consideration that she's only 4' 10", that's more than half her body length in hair

wow. could you get a picture? i can't imagine her at all with short hair. (even only seeing her for a short time.)
some children will be very lucky to have her hair. so so pretty.

I'll try and convince her for an after picture and I'll email it to you. Right now the only after pictures I have right after the ponytail was cut off and before it was trimmed/styled.
