Since there was a lot of curiosity about it, here's a pictorial update on my ear. 6 pictures, mostly taken weekly. Please do not redistribute.
3 days old (3.13) Still really swollen. If you looked at me stright on, this ear stuck out noticeably.
7 days old (3.17). These pictures were taken 20-30 minutes after I took the jewellery out. Shortly after this, I was outside. Feeling the wind move through it was both very interesting and very uncomfortable. Kind of a hyper-sensitive deal.
14 days old (3.24). Very small amount of scab left.
21 days old (3.31). Current picture. Though not 100% healed, there aren't any open spots or scabbiness left. I probably shouldn't be, but I've been sleeping on it for close to a week. I can also comfortably use this as my "phone ear" once again.
