Our lovely concert...

I just wanted to thank all who came to tonight's show. It truly was a lovely experience...I couldn't have asked for a better one. Everything went wonderful...and I felt truly inspired and enthralled by what we were creating. Lovely. And the company was lovely too. I am sorry if I was not the best conversationalist, or may not have spoken for ( Read more... )

What a lovely compliment...We are so honored you were there. Oh-and you and your sister are absolutely DARLING. I wish I could've spoken more to you, but I got a little shy, I get weird sometimes like that around beautiful, cool people.

That's a great way to enjoy the CD...with all the fascinating sounds outside intruding through. I'm so glad you love it so much!! ;)

That is what we tried to do--something different. We're pretty lucky it turned out so well. So many things could've gone wrong. But we were so happy with it.

I think one of the things that made it good for me is that we were able to incorporate some theatre into it...I've always loved theatre, but just not the local musical theatre scene. So we were able to have our own little performance reflect a little of that.

It was terrific! You guys are great on stage, you own that stage! I wanted to say more after as well, but I was just plain roasting up in there. I hope friends and relatives weren't too irritated with all the "feedback" :)

Thank you, Dave....you both sounded terrific. It was just what I needed to relax me and set the mood. I felt like I'd been meditating. And I think that really helped us perform as well as I thought we did.

Honestly, I don't think I could've asked for a better performance from you. And sometimes those things happen (feedback), but that's one of the things that makes it so beautiful.

Heh, all feedback was planned, hence the "" around it :)

Isaac has this uncanny ability to find electrical glitches and exploit them as much as possible. Seriously, he works magic on that "no-input" mixer stuff. I have to have a billion effects on there because...well, I dunno, I need to work on it.

I couldn't hear my speakers all the way out there so I got stumped at one point, but man, he found that that power supply could make noise and BOOM, CRACKLE, FIZZ! He really stepped up for it.

We've gotta make it to another noise show. It's been WAY too long. Every time I hear non non or aodl, it makes me want to try harder to make it to the next shows.

Thanks! No worries about the talking thing - I have plenty of friends who are super nervous before shows, so I try to tread lightly.

Oh, it's alright, Babe!! My sister Angie ended up watching him, and it all worked out well. No worries!!

I am so glad it went so well...it was seriously better than I imagined. And I don't have that 'day after concert depression' like I usually do.
