My 6th day at Yoshi Megamall was pretty much the same as the other days, but this time around, I was able to go on duty with Ira. We were stationed at the rice dishing out counter 'til the end of our shift. I thought that there's a higher volume of customers during weekends, but relatively, the bulk of people are just the same, or maybe just a little more.

We were also able to dish out rice for 20 junior bowls as sponsorship. These strategies, though they may first appear as loss in profit, are actually means for promotion and marketing, which later on can turn into more sales. There was also one crew member who was standing in front of the store (which is near an escalator) handing out flyers to passersby. This is also one way of attracting customers, especially if the flyers are wonderfully made and presents the restaurant's products in an enticing manner.

I was able to back-up again for valencia oranges and lime for counter use, shred 4 whole cabbages, and slice tomatoes, bell pepper, and turnips for their fresh vegetable salad. I was also tasked to slice 1 kg of onions again. Towards the end half of my shift, I was stationed again at the rice dishing out station. Hopefully by the next few days, I can move on to the beef station, as reflected on our training calendar.
