Batman Begins was amazing. Don't expect a prequel to the other Batman movies, but even so you shouldn't be disappointed. Definitely one of the better comic book movies made in the past couple of years. Yes, it's better than Spiderman, but in my opinion that's not saying much.

Now, if Sin City could just come out here in NZ we'd be set.

Kenneth Durand (sp?), the NPR film critic, raved this morning about what a great film Batman was. You might find a transcript or delayed version of his review on www.npr.org. He said it was a great movie. Haven't seen it myself, but maybe Jessica and Dave can go with us when they're here and then she'll talk to you again.
