been hit with deja vous -- sitting on the steps talking with my sister earlier, cutting my hair with a razor tonite and drinking tea now and feeling very not tired. how can it be certain we are not just reliving little bits of little life we've already experienced?

sometimes i like to take a stroll in digitalandia. I read/look @ the things that pop out at me.
Your photo is beautiful.

I think deja-vus happen because we have already lived this very precise moment.
That is to say that time is non-linear. We are simultaneously dead and 3 years old and in my case
24 years old. It helps me to grasp this thought when I think of stars - the star light we see is billions light years away but its taken this long for us to see it. The stars that we see arent there anymore. they're dead.
so, yea, I am as certain as I can be that we have already experienced all of this, every moment of it.

I also look at it this way - deja-vus are the universe's way of letting me know Im precisely where I need to be.

What do you think?

déjà vu tends to just make me feel trapped. as if i can't escape from what will happen next, if the present i've already experienced.

i read this somewhere and perhaps it's jsut something to accept:
two parts of the brain dedicated to short term memory and long term memory are close enough to each other that minor chemical imbalances in the brain can sometimes throw your experience directly to long term bypassing short term therefore fooling you into believing you knew this for some time.
