Good piece Bewing. I'm highly skeptical of the issue of Global Warming from the Al Gore-Kyoto-Greenpeace standpoint, but I've been so busy not trusting the environmentalists that I hadn't thought much about actually "fixing" the problem.

In terms of why none of the activists are actually trying to fix our "crisis" with realistic solutions, I'll tell you what I think. The "war on Global Warming" is the Left's version of the "war on terror". It's based on fear and inflated hyperbole intended to push a social-political world view.

With global warming, the hard-left finally has found an effective way to hinder and control capitalism and manage the populace with the kind of behavior THEY want.
