I do not enjoy hearing such things. It is not...natural.

Tell me, is stupidity a catching illness? Are you aware of the beasts that dwell in the subway?

In any case, this is not dissimilar to the phenomena of the Sochen caves below Archades. It is often that those in the slums of old Archades would hear voices rising up from the depths. Those that go to investigate do not often return.

Tell me, is politeness truly a lost art?

Fascinating though that may be, it is my duty to investigate unusual phenomena such as this one. Nevertheless, I...appreciate your warning, despite the fact that it is rather lacking in manners.

An echo...? That's an interesting idea.

Don't go into the subway. I don't know what it's for, but I've heard it's dangerous... We had someone get lost in the sewers recently. I don't want something like that to happen again.

I have no evidence thusfar that it is indeed an echo, but that seems the most plausible cause.

Your concern is appreciated, but I would be remiss in my duties not to investigate this. If it is any assurance, I shall take great care not to "get lost."
