So I agreed to work on Friday before hearing what the hours were... 9pm til 4am in Sheffield! Argh! In Sheffield Hallam union, standing by a fire door stoppng people going out of it, and checking the toilets to make sure no one had passed out... fun times, hmmm ( Read more... )

hehe, indeed there were. What were you doing there? Having a lot more fun than me I expect!

Bilabial trills are a lot more fun than they sound actually... you hve to make a noise like a horse snorting... not many people can saay they learned that for their degree!

Heyhey! Long time no contact!
What do you study again? I'm doing Linguistics, so do bilabial stuff, and trills, but NEVER had to do Bilabial trills! Insane! Awesome fun though, eh? You just gotta let go of any social norms and go for it!!

hehe yeah, practical phnetics is one of the highlights of my week, it's great! Especially when we practice in the library... hehe. I'm doing speech adn language therapy and really enjoying it, even though it's a lot more linguistic-y than I expected. I thought you were doing sociology or anthropology, something like that? How are you anyway? It's been so long!
