Spent weekend on Exmoor (for a change! normally it's Dartmoor.) Was the final training weekend before India (9 days time!) which we didn't NEED to do but HAD to do coz one lass who's coming keeps getting out of the walks. (Very annoying.) So anyway, i was slightly bitter about the fact that i had to give up a weekend which i couldn't really spare ( Read more... )

This is true yessss....i think u could be potentially distracting when it comes to me needing to study. but you would have a babysitter laid on some of the time if u wanted it!

Listen to kissycat1000, she knows what she's on about *grin*

Sorry to hear about the coldness and bruises... I know how that feels, had to put up with it fairly often back in my D of E days :/
*sympathetic hugs*

My personal statement was fairly crap, but I'm really good at interviews - so they loved me when they saw me *grin*

I dont think i'd be very good in an interview. id probably talk bollox about irrelevant stuff most of the time, and not be able to answer any questions properly. i know we've got practise ones in Nov. though, so i'll let u know.

TBH, i'm fed up with D of E today, it seems to be the source of a lot of problems.

Oh I wouldn't worry about the interviews, they're generally quite friendly in them! My bristol interview was funny, all the other people there had turned up in blazers or suits, and there was me in a beaten up old pair of jeans and a slightly faded black t-shirt :)

As for problems, it seems by reading your latest post that there's more than just D of E getting to you. If you want to chat, or just rant at me, I'm online most of the time, just say hi...

*hugs*

Thanks :) Am feeling a bit better this evening. All was fine with shopping this afternoon, spent £24.24 on 4 days food, and i recon it weighs about 5kg, which is quiiiite a lot considering weight limit is 25kg overall, AND ive actually got to carry those 5kg (and the rest!) on a 4 day trek! Never mind. Have been mind-mapping (duno if you're familiar with that phrase?!) the Immortality of the Soul, which is always enlightening ;) And now i'm off to bed, with a hot water bottle to put on my tummy as it's not in a very happy place now.

It's really nice to know you're willing to read and comment even though we've never met :) Thank you x
