Obsessions align for a bit of intense rereading

I've had a scene from Tank Girl stuck in my head off and on for a little while now. The haunting melody has just been hanging around, so I finally watched the bit to dredge up enough lyrics to find the song

I knew immediately that you were talking about Portishead. That's a great song, and they put it in a great movie, too.

I was listening to the samples of the other songs on the album with "Roads" but they just didn't strike me the same way. Perhaps when I'm less obsessed over the mood of that particular song, I'll appreciate the rest of their work more.

There's no accounting for the pickiness of taste. =)
