What's wrong with kids these days?

I gave out candy to 4 kids.  4.  Tiny kids.  I mean, Halloween = Free Candy.  I repeat:  Free.  Candy.  'Nuff said.

I weep for the species.

An hour left until I can cram out some fiction and go to bed.  Bah.  The beginning's always the worst.

I have no idea how many kids stopped by Corvid Manner, as I'm in San Jose rocking out the WFC.

How'd your first day of it go?

Our launch party totally rocked, with 34 NaNos drifting through, many staying for at least half the day. I'm not quite at 4K, so happily a day ahead of schedule where I wanted to be. Now I mostly need to dream up some plot to prevent the aimless chatting between the characters when they don't have crises to tend to.

And you really need to join us. I mentioned the infamous "unzipped his pants" starter line, and someone across the room won the badge of "main character was nekkid for the first 2000 words."
