Okay, so all this talk about Tracy looking at buying a horse...it has me back to scanning the ads regularly again.

I come across Mr. Perfect: Bay Arab Gelding, 5 years old, started in just about everything, beautiful, (and a good deal cheaper than Noah).

Here, look for yourselves.

And I'm drooling over him... and I go to look at his pedigree.

Actually, this is a competitive price for a horse like this. Most of the horses I looked at last spring were similar and similarly priced. Fact is, I paid more for Noah than he really is worth in the market. I thought he was the best for me that I was going to find and sacraficed some money for it.

This horse is actually more reasonable, and I think he would have been perfect for me to boot.

He is beautiful. And amazing, as far as training goes. Ah, well. Noah's prettier, and has the sweetest eyes I've ever seen.

heh, I can't believe you guys think Noah is prettier. He has a lovely head, but he could have a more athletic conformation. You're just trying to make me feel better.

Yeah, the pedigree within breeds can make a huge price difference too. Well, at least in Arabs. Seems like you can find dirt cheap QH and Paint horses with impressive lines.

I'm still going to call up my mom and show her the ad.
