Small intermission from the Wes-Cordy-Kiddies thread, HereIn the end, it wasn't me who told Cordelia what happened., but Alicia. Which was when they both started to cry again. Luckily Cordelia was here with me this time

Was Wesley even at his apartment? By the length of time for him to pick up the phone, he might not be. Or maybe I was just more impatient at the moment than I realized. But hey, I had good reason to be.
The thought crossed my mind that what if this had been Connor. What if something had happened to him growing up with his new 'parents' and then he's be an orphan..well, he'd think that he'd be an orphan. Shaking my head, I realized it wasn't possible. Connor hadn't actually lived out those memories, they were just that - memories. I should really check out somewhere to see what memories they did give him.
As I waited for Wesley to pick up the phone, stood from the bed and attempted to pace around the room. That failed when I was caught back by the cord of the phone.

A little voice came through the phone and I stopped short. The base of the phone fell of the table again when I stopped suddenly. Scowling, I walked over and picked up the base and just sat myself down on the bed, holding it in my other hand.
"Yeah, I'm..fine." Had he heard my little round with the telephone? Wonderful. There's something else for people to mock me for. Not only does the vampire CEO brood and wear black shirts, but he talks to telephones. Well, to the actual telephone..base.
He said they were fine, but then I heard the small voice again through the phone. Maybe I could go over there and take them..something. The money here at Wolfram and Hart had to be good for something other than getting off our guilty scumbag clients.
Wesley spoke to her and I sighed. "Is there anything I can get them..you?" Scolding? I guess he had heard that little episode. I mumbled a bit before answering. "It was nothing..no one."
"Do you think they'd like to come back here? Or should I go over to your place? I-..what can I do
