“Sorry to interrupt you but I figured it was time that we got to business.” As much as I hated the idea of working for this woman I wanted to get it over with. I did not want this hanging over my head for much longer. I knew I would not be able to avoid it completely so might as well accept my fate.

I filed my papers away into a few folders and locked them away in my drawer. "First," I said folding my hands together, "Can I just say how nice it is that you came to see me? That's what the world really lacks these days. A smart, strong, woman who is willing to get up and torture her boyfriend's ally." I smirked at her. "Only joking of course. We both know why you are here. I'm just glad that you have come to accept it insted of whining and sniviling and trying to weasel your way out of it, like some of the others might have done."

“Well I feel special.” I said sitting down in front of her desk. “So what is the plan? Shouldn’t we get started with whatever it is you’re plotting?” I hoped that the sooner we started the sooner we would be done and I would be free to start living my life.
