Willow left the office and that left me with a head full of thoughts. If someone were to walk in on me right now there's no doubt a discussion would be brought up on how much I was brooding, how solemn my face looked, or the shape of my brow. They always did that no matter what happened to be on my mind, but now dammit I had a very good reason to ( Read more... )

With my newly befriended Buffy-sister in tow, the two of us headed down the halls of the firm in search of his Royal Ensouledness. Hypothetically, I had my fingers, toes, and horns (in spirit, anyway) crossed, hoping that he would be the final word on prooving whether or not I was really me. Well, of course I knew who I was, or at least, I felt like me anyway. But admittedly it is a rather bizarre thing when your demon friend is human but tells you he's still a demon but he's actually not because he's turned human by another demon. Conumdrum, yes ( ... )

I followed Lorne through the firm like a puppy. It sucked. I don't even know why I was going with him. I didn't particularly care about seeing Angel, he usually didn't pay a whole lot of attention to me anyways, and I hardly knew Lorne. I guess I was just there for lack of anything better to do. Part of me just wanted to run out. Leave. Find something interesting to do. But I continued to follow along silently.

There was Angel. Cinnamon-Buns? I had to giggle a little at that pet name for Angel. But the look on Angel's face showed that he definitely didn't find it as funny as me. But then again, when did he find things funny?

Not long after I left the office, I noticed a couple people walking towards me, but he wasn't green with horns and a bright suit, so I didn't bother stopping. But wait. Lorne being human meant no green and no horns. Did that also mean no brightly colored suits?

"Angel! Cinnamon-Buns! Just the man I am looking for!"

Turning around, I stopped short when I saw the face that matched the voice that obviously sounded like Lorne. Besides, no one else in this place would ever call me a pastry every time he saw me.

I frowned at the name, but got over that pretty fast when I remembered I was supposed to 'sniff' him. After another minute of staring at who was supposed to be Lorne, I looked and saw Dawn standing there with him. A question ran through my mind wondering if she'd seen Connor since that day in the office. I nodded a bit to her. "Hey, Dawn."

Crossing my arms over my chest, I looked back at Lorne. This was just.. weird. Lorne was human? The longer I stood there the more nothing I felt wrong about who he really was. ( ... )

I smiled a bit at Angel. "Hi there Angel."

I really didn't see a point in being here for all of this. And maybe it was just me being paranoid, but I think Angel gave me a look. Kind of like one he got that time when I brought Connor to see him.

I was feeling a little uncomfortable here so I started looking around for something to distract me. Darn, nothing.

I looked around the other way and spotted a bulletin board. Bingo. I headed toward it. Nothing I could really do to help figure this Lorne thing out anyway.
